The tool is a stand-alone software, no additional MBS solver is needed. CDTire contains an example set of tire parameter files for a 195/65 R15 tire. Additionally, ITWM is offering CDTire parameter identification as an engineering service. This data is then compared to simulations with systematically varied parameters to identify the best parameter set... The Fraunhofer ITWM is one of currently 76 institutes of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft zur Förderung der angewandten Forschung e.V. (Fraunhofer Society for the Advancement of Applied Research) and can thus draw on the competencies of a strong network... Of course, we also work with large companies, especially in the automotive sector, mechanical engineering, the textile industry, microelectronics, the computer industry and the financial sector. Consultation in R&D questions, support in the use of high-performance computer technology and provision of custom-tailored software solutions are integral building blocks of our work.
