After having worked in (Automotive) filtration for over 15 years, I have decided to start my own filtration products company: "de Haas - Filtration". It is a start-up that I created as a spin-off from "de Haas - Engineering" which is my engineering services business: www.dehaas-engineering.com... The first development within this filtration business is the creation of a family of generic oil filter products. These should be applicable for oily fluids ranging from thin Diesel fuel to thick wind turbine oils. Currently two main sizes have been developed (100 and 200 mm filter element length). The product line will consist of filters that either utilize existing system pressure or that are equipped with their own pump and electric motor to generate flow through the filter elements.
