This website is a project of the Social Investment Practice at The Kresge Foundation, a private philanthropy that works to expand opportunities in America's cities. It was created in 2019 with a goal to make the U.S. community development finance system, its key actors, terminology, projects and the important outcomes it leads to in cities and communities nationwide more visible.
