We are a German association founded in 2007. Our main goal is to protect the tropical rainforest of Latin America as a common heritage of mankind through information and education campaigns as well as eco-social projects in India, Peru and the Dominican Republic... We promote the sustainable use and reforestation of tropical forests. We support the local population in rural and indigenous communities in the preservation of ecologically diverse habitats, reforestation and forest protection. Wherever possible, we also support them in finding economic alternatives, so that they can make a living from actively protecting the forests instead of destroying their own livelihoods in the long term by recurrent slash-and-burn logging.
