FISCHER RESEARCH

We conduct biomedical research at the interface of molecular biology, molecular genetics, and computational biology. Our research interests and expertise focus on genome regulation and molecular oncology. We study the control of proliferation of normal cells and cancer cells to understand the molecular basis of mechanisms that serve as critical barriers to cancer. Gene regulatory networks have central roles in the control of cell fate, and our investigations are helping to unravel their precise function.
