My name is Matt and I am the Chair of Governors for the joint governing committee for Frodsham Primary Academy and Kingsway Primary Academy. I have been a school governor since 2014 because I am passionate about education and want to invest in our future generation. Being a governor is both challenging and rewarding, but I really enjoy putting my skills and a little time to good use by ensuring our children get the best education possible. I'm Gemma, the Head of School here at Frodsham Primary Academy. I was appointed in May 2022 as the school joined the Warrington Primary Academy Trust. I have taught in the primary sector for the last 16 years. I completed my NPQH in 2019 and I am looking forward to making a difference to the life chances of the children at Frodsham Academy. I play an active role in the development of the curriculum across the Warrington Primary Academy Trust as I lead the curriculum network for all 8 schools. I am excited to lead this school to ensure that all children receive the highest standard of education and are fully prepared for the future.

I'm Sara and I have been the School Business Manager at Frodsham Primary Academy since joining the school team in 2014. Prior to this I worked in industry as a management accountant and strategic planner, after qualifying as a Management Accountant (CIMA). I look forward to being part of the Governing Body to continually develop the school, sharing my school knowledge whilst also learning about new areas within the school to enhance my business manager role.
I have family connections in the area and am passionate to assist in any way I can to enable the best possible education for our school community. I have worked in education for over 30 years in schools, local authorities and now as part of Trust in WPAT. I am a qualified CIPFA accountant with a Masters in Management and my areas of specific interest are school finance, HR, buildings, marketing, H&S and climate change. I am currently Finance and Operations Director for Warrington Primary Academy Trust, enjoying socialising, keeping fit at the gym and yoga in my free time
My name is Richard Scott, and I am excited to join the governing body at school. I'm looking forward to working with staff in the continued development of our children's lives. As a dad of three boys who attend Frodsham Primary Academy, I am passionate about creating opportunity for children in the area to receive excellent educational, pastoral and wrap around care. I hope to make sure school life gives them great memories, long lasting friendships, and the best chance of success as an adult. My background is in catering in which I have worked for many years, most recently specialising in school catering.Outside of work I enjoy motorsports and gardening including growing our own produce.
I have been a secondary school teacher working in large 11-18 high schools for 28 years. I started my career in Merseyside as an NQT, moving to Lancashire to work as Head of Biology and Faculty Leader in Science, and then was internally promoted to pastoral Assistant Headteacher. After 15 years in Lancashire, I moved to Cheshire West and Chester and have, for the last 8 years, worked at Helsby High School as Deputy Headteacher. My close links with Frodsham Primary Academy have been relatively recent; I joined the Governing Body of Frodsham Weaver Vale about 6 months before it's academy conversion. I was pleased to be able to continue to support the school as a member of the Local Governing Committee of the new school from the outset. I bring the experience of being on the Governing Body of two other schools prior to Frodsham Primary Academy. I'm interested in all elements of governance at a local level, but have a particular interest in the support for children with SEND.
