Launched in 2018, GenoRobotics has its roots in the need for botanists to speed up the census of biodiversity. It was during an expedition to the primary forests of Madagascar in 2018 that the need for a field solution, in a challenging environment, became apparent... Our main goal is to bring the lab into the field to enhance the capacity of biodiversity referencing and monitoring... We are composing a versatile team that combines skills in life science, genomics and microengineering around a goal: the preservation of biodiversity.
