Garioch District Heat is a project to install district heating in the Garioch District of Abedeenshire. Inverurie Community Energy Society Ltd are the lead organisation behind the project. Constituted as a Community Benefit Society, Inverurie Community Energy Society was established to accept the offer of free heat from the Thainstone Energy from Waste plant.
