HENRY'S BBQ GRILL

Since 2008 black Dog BarBQue has operated henry's bbq grill located on the main floor of historic harley davidson, 21 st and topeka, in topeka. why is it called "henry's bbq grill"? Henry "pat" patterson opened "topeka harley" in 1949. everybody loved henry, who died shortly after the 50 th anniversary of "topeka harley", so in his honor the grill was named after him. he is our namesake. in the beginning we offered only a very small menu but that has exploded. along with our regular lunch menu of smoked turkey, pulled pork & brisket, we have added daily specials like "smoked meatloaf", "smoked sausage" and "baby back ribz". side dishes include "tators 'n cheez", "sausage-bacon & beer beens", "homestyle tator salad" and "scooters cole slaw". all meats are smoked at our location and side dishes are made fresh everyday. we also offer a full menu breakfast on saturday mornings. be sure to check out our menu page. so come on and have lunch or breakfast wih us...or heck try them..
