Mr. Steen was appointed as board member of the Company on 1 November 2021. Mr. Steen initially graduated in 1975 from ETH Zurich Switzerland with a M.Sc. in Industrial and Management Engineering. After working for a number of high profile companies, Mr. Steen joined Nordea Bank from January 2001 to February 2011 as head of the bank's Shipping, Oil Services & International Division. Currently, Mr. Steen holds directorship positions in various Norwegian and Bermudian companies.

Christian Dahll was appointed Chief Operational Officer in 2020 Bulkers Management AS 1 January 2022, after serving as Head of Commercial Operations since January 2020.
Mr. Dahll acts as contracted COO in Himalaya Shipping.
Prior to this Dahll worked 11 years in Höegh Autoliners, most recently acting as Head of Voyage Management/Vessel Operation.
Dahll has held several previous positions in shipping, including Trade Manager at EML, Brussels 2010-2012, Shipbroker at RS Platou 2007-2008 and 2nd officer in Wallenius Wilhelmsen 2003-2007.
Dahll has a BSc. in Nautical studies from University of Southeast Norway.
Mr. Dahll is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Norway.
Georgina Sousa has served as a Director on our Board of Directors since 2 June 2021. Sousa was employed by Frontline Ltd. as Head of Corporate Administration from February 2007 until December 2018. She previously served as a director of Frontline from April 2013 until December 2018, Ship Finance International Limited from May 2015 until September 2016, North Atlantic Drilling Ltd. from September 2013 until June 2018, Sevan Drilling Limited from August 2016 until June 2018, Northern Drilling Ltd. from March 2017 until December 2018, and FLEX LNG LTD. from June 2017 until December 2018. Sousa also served as a Director of Seadrill Limited from November 2015 until July 2018, Knightsbridge Shipping Limited (the predecessor of Golden Ocean Group Limited) from 2005 until 2015 and Golar LNG Limited from 2013 until 2015. Sousa served as Secretary for all of the abovementioned companies at various times during the period between 2005 and 2018. She served as secretary of Archer Limited from 2011 until December 2018 and Seadrill Partners LLC from 2012 until 2017. Sousa is a U.K. citizen and a resident of Bermuda.

Jehan Mawjee has been a member of our Board of Directors and chair of Audit Committee since December 19, 2022. Ms. Mawjee has been employed as Chief Accounting Officer of Borr Drilling Limited since April 2021. She previously served in various accounting roles at Golar LNG Limited from 2015 to 2021 and at KPMG from 2012 to 2015. Ms. Mawjee is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Master of Professional Accounting degree from the University of Saskatchewan as well as an Honours Degree in Applied Economics from Queen's University. Ms. Mawjee is a Canadian citizen and a resident of the U.K.
Mr. Herman Billung assumed the role as CEO in 2020 Bulkers 1 February 2022 and subsequently was contracted as the CEO of Himalaya Shipping.
Ms. Alfi Lao joined Himalaya Shipping Ltd as Chief Accounting Officer in April 2023. She has more than 10 years accounting experience in the Shipping Industry, having served in various accounting roles at Golar LNG Limited and Golar LNG Partners LP from 2012 to 2023. Prior to Golar, she worked at Ernst & Young London from 2006 to 2012 and KPMG Philippines from 2002 to 2006. She is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy degree from the University of San Carlos.
Lalic brings 17 years of technical experience, having held positions as Project Engineer, Fleet/ Project Manager and Head of Decarbonization at Frontline Management AS, as well as Technical Superintendent at SeaTeam Pte Ltd.
Petter has a M.Sc. from Norwegian Tech University in Naval architecture and Marine engineering
