City-inspired and volunteer-driven, Home Team Valpo is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of Valparaiso residents by assisting qualifying homeowners in maintenance of their homes... Our funding is solely provided through the generosity of local charter partners, annual partner contributions, and thoughtful donations from local residents... Home Team Valpo's mission is supported by individuals and organizations throughout Valparaiso and Northwest Indiana, and depends on skilled and unskilled volunteers from our community, lending their talents and their hands to help our neighbors maintain their homes. Working in partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Porter County, Home Team Valpo has set out a goal to complete 24 home projects in its first 12 months of operation.
