INCLUSION

Sixty years ago, Inclusion SK founder Dr. John Dolan put an ad in the StarPhoenix to survey the number of children who were unable to attend school because they had an intellectual disability. The response to his ad inspired him, and many others invested in the disability cause, to start an Association that would give a voice to individuals with intellectual disabilities in Saskatchewan... Inclusion SK (formerly the Saskatchewan Association for Community Living) provides support in a variety of ways to individuals, parents, siblings, other family members, friends and community based organizations. We work collaboratively with the government and community based organizations to ensure that citizens of Saskatchewan who have intellectual disabilities are valued, supported and included members of society and have opportunities and choices in all aspects of life.
