Bob Moore will be forever grateful to his father and grandfather for introducing him to the game of golf at an early age. He began caddying at eight, and was playing within the year. As a young man, his love for the game led to employment in both the maintenance and construction of golf courses. Upon graduating from Wake Forest University in 1979, Bob made the decision to pursue golf course design as a career. He returned to school and tailored his curriculum with a focus on golf course architecture, receiving a Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from North Carolina State University in 1983. His professional career began with the firm of Jerry Turner & Associates, where Bob developed his skills as a landscape architect and land planner. His early golf course designs include Nags Head Golf Links, North Shore Country Club and Wildwood Green Golf Club, all in the State of North Carolina.
