Kate Woodward grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. She moved to Florida while studying at the University of Tampa. There, she received her BFA with a concentration in Ceramics. She moved back to Baltimore after graduation where she started working in field of Graphic Design. She then moved to Savannah, Georgia for a few years, where she bought her first kiln.
