A chemical engineer by qualification, Canturk has close to three decades of experience in various fields of business and is a well know business figure in Ankara, Turkey. His flagship company is a leading supplier of healthcare specific industrial and laboratory equipment through partnerships with seven leading equipment manufacturing companies. Under his leadership, the recently acquired vaccines business has grown steadily, making conventional and newer vaccines readily accessible to the people of Turkey. Canturk is passionate and committed about ensuring a better quality and healthier life to the people of Turkey and is on a mission to make this a reality through indigenous manufacturing of conventional and novel vaccines and other biologics.
Ahmed has almost thirty years of extensive scientific and commercial expertise, from his work in capacity building for vaccines in the developing world. He is known internationally for his wide-ranging expertise in vaccines, biotherapeutics including monoclonal antibodies, and other biopharmaceuticals. He races with an infallible ambition to drive positive change where it is needed most in the biotechnology sector. Fiercely passionate about making complex biotech services and products accessible at an affordable cost and health equity a reality. He founded Keytech Biopharma to bring his purpose to life. With his equally passionate colleagues, he works to build novel biologics manufacturing capacity and infrastructure and an ecosystem to enable advancement in the biotechnology sector in Turkey.
