I am a mental health professional with over 30 years of experience in this field. I hold a professional qualification and remain registered to practice... During my career I have worked in almost every mental health setting including intensive care units, acute mental health units, a therapeutic community and working within a variety of community settings... I am not qualified or certified as a counsellor, or as a specific therapist however the majority of work that I have done has been on a one-to-one basis with clients with often very complex mental health issues. The work I have done has frequently been with people with much more complex needs than most professionals are likely to encounter.
