ORISSA STATE BADMINTON

Orissa State Badminton Association (OSBA) is the governing body for badminton in the state of Odisha. It manages all events, tournaments, coaching camps etc in the state. OSBA was formed by passionate badminton enthusiasts of Odisha to facilitate players from the state to participate in National championship and other events organised by Badminton Association of India (BAI). The association was registered in the year 1981. OSBA got affiliation from BAI in the year 1985. In 2017 Odisha was amongst one of the first state chosen by BAI to launch BWF ShuttleTime in India, BWF ShuttleTime programme was organised in Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur & Sundergarh districts. The Previous Secretary of the association Late Shri Pradip Mohanty was Joint-Secretary, BAI and also Chairman, Para Badminton India. The current Secretary is the Executive Body Member And Tournament Committee Member of BA I
