PEED BROS - Key Persons
Angela has been employed with Peed Bros., Inc. since 1992. She has worked in the estimating, bidding, planning and operations areas of the company. She is now taking a more active role in the Operations and Human Resource areas. She holds a valid GSWCC Level 1A Certified Personnel card and has had Competent Person Excavation Training and holds a valid Utility Foreman License with the State of Georgia. She has completed 10 hour OSHA training and 8 hour MSHA training. She has been active with the Georgia Utility Contractors Association and has served on the Board of Directors and other offices including President of the association.
Bobby Peed has been in the construction business since 1967. He took over all Peed Bros. construction projects in 1972. In the following years, Bobby developed the company into the thriving business that it is today. He became vice president in 1991 and ascended to president in January 2017.
Bobby has experience in all phases of construction such as grading, storm drain installation, base and paving, landfill liner installation, and finishing work. He assists with bidding, scheduling, and operations of projects, as well as equipment purchases and the day to day management of the company.
Bobby is an experienced heavy equipment operator and holds a valid Georgia CDL. He has completed the Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response OSHA 1910.120. Bobby is a Level IA Certified Personnel with the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission. Bobby is MSHA certified and has had Competent Person Excavation Training. He is also a certified Utility Forman under the State of Georgia Utility Licensing Board. He also is licensed as a Georgia General Contractor Agent under Peed Bros., Inc. He is also a Certified General Contractor and Underground Utility and Excavation Contractor in the State of Florida.
Carey Peed has grown up in the construction business. After high school, he attended trade school focusing on diesel mechanics. He has been employed by Peed Bros. since1994. During those years, he climbed the ranks to his current position as project manager/supervisor. He is a valued employee and has earned the respect of engineers and construction colleagues with his knowledge. He has held the position of manager/supervisor on numerous large dirt moving projects as well as dam and landfill projects.
Carey has experience in all phases of construction such as grading, storm drain installation, dam construction, base and paving, landfill liner installation, and finishing work. He received his certification for fusion welding of HDPE pipe.
Carey is an experienced heavy equipment operator and holds a valid Georgia CDL. He holds a valid GSWCC Level 1A Certified Personnel card and has completed Competent Person Excavation training. He has training in OSHA Standard 29 CFR Part 1926 and is MSHA Certified. He is also a certified Utility Forman under the State of Georgia Utility Licensing Board

Charles Lance has been in the construction business for over 40 years. He began his career at Peed Bros. as estimator in 1978. In the following years, Charles helped mold the company into the thriving business that it is today. He became corporate secretary in 1991.
Charles is a licensed Utility Manager under the State of Georgia Utility Licensing Board and he is a former member of the State of Georgia Construction Industry Licensing Board, Utility Division. Charles is a Level IA Certified Personnel with the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission. He has had Competent Person Excavation Training, OSHA 10 and 40 and MSHA certification training. He has been a firefighter for over40 years, with many firefighting and safety trainings classes He is also a former EMT. He is a former President of the Georgia Utility Contractors Association and is a current member of the Georgia Public Service Commission Advisory Board. Charles is licensed as a Georgia General Contractor Agent under Peed Bros., Inc.
Elaine Peed has been a part of the company for 49 years. She began helping in the office at Peed Bros. when she married Bobby in 1968. She managed multiple tasks before settling in the accounting department. In 1991, Elaine became the corporate treasurer after the death of Mary Peed. Over the years, she has helped manage the day to day tasks of running a family owned construction business. She has been a big part of helping develop the company into the thriving business that it is today.
Lester Peed is lifelong resident of Taylor County. He is a graduate of Butler High School. He began working with his two brothers at Peed Bros. Milling Co. in 1948.
He became President of Peed Bros., Inc. in 1985 and served at that capacity until January 1, 2017 at which time he became Chairman of the Board.
Lester has been very active in our community. He helped organized the Butler Volunteer Fire Department and served as Assistant Chief for many years prior to his retirement. He served as Commissioner to the Flint Area Consolidated Housing Authority, representing the City of Butler for over 50 years. He served as Chaplain at the Western District Detention center in Butler from shortly after it opened until it closed. He is an active member at Bethel Congregational Methodist Church. He also has been a member of the Gideon's International Organization speaking and distributing Bibles for many years.

Teresa has joined our team after over 30 years in the manufacturing industry. She is experienced in all phases of the manufacturing industry from finance to shipping and receiving, and held positions as a Business Unit Manager and Materials Manager. She holds a degree in Business Administration from Columbus State University. Teresa is a Certified Landfill Manager. She is a Level IA Certified Personnel with the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission. She has Competent Person Excavation training as well as 8 hours MSHA training and completed OSHA 30 training. She brings a wealth of knowledge to our tea

Terrie Salter graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Southern Tech in 1995. She has been active in the engineering/construction management industry since graduation. She came on board with Peed Bros. in 2007. She has experience in roadway design, residential subdivision design, water and sewer design, GPS terrain modeling, and construction management. Terrie plays a major role in the setup of our GPS equipment and the maintenance of it while on the job site.
Recently, Terrie obtained her Remote Pilot Certification and operates Peed Bros' drone which generates substantial information that is proves valuable on many projects. She assists in the bidding process while keeping her primary focus on project management and client relations.
Terrie has experience with numerous computer programs such as Microstation, Autocad, Storm Cadd, Caice, Eagle Point, Terramodel, Agtek. And Trimble Business Center. She holds a valid GSWCC Level 1A Certified Personnel card and has completed Competent Person Excavation training. She holds a valid Utility Foreman License with the State of Georgia. She has completed 10 hour OSHA training and 8 hour MSHA training.
