The website is sponsored by the technical committees of photonic glasses and optical fibers (TC20) of International Commission on Glass (ICG,www.icglass.org). TC20 focuses on glasses finding their application in optoelectronics and photonics.All the aspects of research & development are considered, going from designand fundamental properties to characterization and applications. In the recentyears much attention has been devoted to new materials (glasses andglass-ceramics) for Lighting and Solar Energy. TC20 promotes internationalcollaborations and sponsors international Workshops and Conferences relevant tothe field.
