The Pittsburg Historical Society and Museum is a 501 ( c ) 3 non-profit organization focused on preserving and sharing our history and helping to make the world around us a better, happier place. With the help of our tireless volunteer staff, we organize fundraisers, exciting community-building events, and in-depth training sessions for our volunteers. The building was the recreation hall donated to the museum by the Standard Oil Company in 1963 and came from the old Los Medanos pumping station...
