PROSPERA RESEARCH - Key Persons
Liz is an independent researcher and the director of Prospera Research which she established in July 2012. Over the past nine years, Liz has worked with a wide spectrum of not-for-profit clients spanning sectors which include: higher education; arts and heritage; environment and conservation; international development; and health and social welfare charities.
Prior to her life as a freelance researcher, Liz had been at Christie's in the Impressionist and Modern Art and Modern British Art departments as Client Development Director. She previously served as Acting Chief Executive of the Kew Foundation, Royal Botanic Gardens Kew where she had been Head of Knowledge Management. Between 2005 and 2007 Liz was in charge of the UK consultancy for Factary, a fundraising research firm where she provided training, consultancy and prospect research services to a diverse cross section of not-for-profits. Prior to Factary, Liz was Head of Research for the V&A's Development Department. Liz's first fundraising role was as Development Researcher at the Royal Society of Arts.
Throughout her fundraising career, Liz has provided prospect research leadership which has informed and guided major capital campaigns which have included the £31 million British Galleries campaign and £75 million FuturePlan campaign at the V&A and the £100 million Breathing Planet campaign at the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew.
Liz has spent more than 25 years as a fundraising professional which has generated a deep knowledge of international philanthropy.
