Councilmember Art Brown was first elected to the Buena Park City Council in 1990 and served four consecutive terms. After a two-year break, Art was again elected to the Buena Park City Council in 2012 where he is currently in his second consecutive term. He has served seven one-year terms as Mayor. A long-time resident of Buena Park, Art has a history of public service with service in the United States Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps, as well as with the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. He currently serves as the curator of the Buena Park Historical Society, is a member of the Buena Park Cable Foundation and member and former president of the Buena Park Noon Lions Club. Both Art and his wife volunteer their time to serve as Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus for Buena Park and other civic organizations.

Vice Mayor Cindy Allen was elected to represent Long Beach's Second Council District in 2020, and in late 2022 she was selected unanimously by her colleagues as Vice Mayor. She serves as chair of the Economic Development and Opportunity Committee, vice chair of the Intergovernmental Affairs Committee, and on the Arts, Culture and Tourism Committee. In addition to serving as a board officer for SCAG, Cindy represents the City of Long Beach as a board member of the National League of Cities. Prior to serving in public office, she was an entrepreneur and small-business owner, and served her community as a Long Beach police officer for 10 years, during which she was awarded more than 20 commendations for bravery and exceptional service to Long Beach.

Supervisor Curt Hagman was elected to serve San Bernardino County's Fourth District in November 2014 and has been elected unanimously by his colleagues to serve two terms as chairman of the Board of Supervisors. He is one of five commissioners on the Ontario International Airport Authority and also serves on the governing boards of organizations including South Coast Air Quality Management District, Inland Empire Health Plan, OmniTrans and the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority. He began his public service as a Chino Hills Parks and Recreation commissioner. He later represented Chino Hills on the City Council and as Mayor; served on the San Bernardino County Workforce Investment Board; and served six years in the California Legislature.
