STAMFORD HIGH SCHOOL

The Strawberry Hill Players are the drama club at Stamford High School. We are composed of very talented actors, singers, dancers and all around wonderful people (if we do say so ourselves)! Our club includes two parts: first, the theater sector, in which performers, our costume crew and tech troupe put on plays and musicals for the community to enjoy. Second, we have SHIP, the Strawberry Hill Improv Players, who bring hilarious improv comedy to life in their productions! Each year we have productions that include a fall play, senior scenes, Knight of Cabaret, and a spring musical. We have won awards at the Connecticut HALO competition in past years, including: 2019 Best Performance by a Cast in an Ensemble Play for Noises Off; Best Comedic Female Performance in a Musical and Best Contemporary Musical for the Addams Family; 2020 Best Contemporary Play and Best Scenic Design for Elephants Graveyard; 2021 Best Male Standout in an Ensemble Play for Our Place, 2022 Best Featured Actress..
