STREET PAX

From our goal of providing both immediate and practical help and assistance, as well as a sense of care, concern and encouragement, came our concept of street packs, or more accurately our "StreetPax"... Our organization was started as a way to provide a positive response when you see or come face-to-face with a homeless or street person who asks for your help. What do you do when this happens to you? Do you cross the street, look the other away, or just ignore them? Do you tell them you have no cash on you-even when you really do? Do you politely decline to help for fear your money will be used to purchase alcohol or chemicals? Or do you perhaps recall words from a more authoritative source, that "…whatsoever you do for the least of my brothers, that you do onto me", and give them a dollar or two-all the while wondering if you just helped fuel an addiction, and that you've really haven't helped them at all?... Since 2016, Street Pax in Roseville, MN has been an organization..
