The core of our mission is simple: to better the lives of the 2,500 people who live in the town of Salisbury on the small island of Dominica, in the Caribbean... We aim to sustainably provide support in the form of funds toward important projects that can contribute to the development and benefit of the town and its residents, and most importantly, to partner with the local Disaster Relief Committee for Disaster preparedness and relief (primarily hurricane) including helping with the provision of food, water, first aid and other medical supplies, and general emergency items... Our organization was initially founded to provide support to the town after devastating storms and hurricanes (Tropical Storm Erika, 2015; Hurricane Maria, 2018) destroyed homes and infrastructure, depleted food supply and put human lives at risk.
