Founded in 2011, Whetstone Academy is a CARF and COGNIA accredited therapeutic boarding school. Tucked away in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains near the Chattooga River in South Carolina, our 57-acre campus boasts a lake for recreation and an active farm with many animals and birds... At Whetstone, our mission is to maintain a rich and diverse learning environment where students and families are empowered to embrace challenges with curiosity and grow to feel resilient and connected.
