To be able to organise a global sporting event like a cycling world championship - what a privilege! It's like a cycling classic: with flat sections to roll through, rough climbs and a finish in the last few metres where we give it our all once again. As representatives and experts from politics, sports associations, authorities, administration and event organisations, we are like a well-tuned racing team. We ride in a pack, take turns upfront again and again, and bring Zurich 2024 to the finish line successfully together...
