Becky qualified as a physiotherapist in 2003 from University of East Anglia. She has extensive experience of working with both NHS and private clients in a range of areas, before specialising in orthopaedics and musculoskeletal injuries. Becky has worked for the British Canoe/Kayak Team, British Rowing and at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games as a physio. She is driven to keep up to date with the latest developments in physiotherapy to advise and provide the best treatment possible.
Becky is an accomplished athlete, having represented Great Britain in international kayaking events between having her 2 children. She moved into triathlon in 2010, quickly progressing to international age group triathlon and elite quadrathlon racing where she has won World, European and British Championship medals. In 2021 she joined the masters ranks and came 4th in the World Cyclocross Championships. These experiences provide her with a valuable insight into the demands and dynamics of exercise, injury prevention and resolution.

Chantelle joined Healthshare as a Patient Care Advisor in 2020, an administrative phone-based roll. Since then, she has worked her way up to a new role as the Referral Management Centre Administration Manager. She will soon be progressing into an Interim Clinical Services RMC Manager role - a testament to how quickly you can progress at Healthshare if you are a great fit for the role. These roles involve processing NHS referrals at Healthshare and managing a team. Chantelle now works at our brand-new call centre in Hull.
Chantelle joined us with many years of call centre experience under her belt already and gained administration experience in different parts of the business before progressing into her current role.

Following radiology training at King's College Hospital, Dr Shah undertook a radiology fellowship at the Royal Marsden Hospital. She has broad oncological expertise in diagnostic imaging but with a particular emphasis on gynaecological and urological malignancy.
She is passionate about MRI particularly multiparametric prostate MRI and gynaecological MRI. She has also championed the use of whole-body imaging for haematological malignancy (myeloma) at Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust. She is also passionate about clinically based research and is currently CI for a multicentre trial.

Dr Loganayagam has numerous publications in peer reviewed journals on all aspects of gastroenterology. He is actively involved in clinical research. He has particular local expertise in the practice of personalised medicine and the utilisation of novel therapeutic agents in the treatment of complex inflammatory bowel disease. He is currently the lead clinician for endoscopy at Oprington Endoscopy and at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich.
Diagnostic and advanced therapeutic endoscopy remains a major part of his clinical expertise, including assessment and treatment of inflammatory bowel disease, strictures, polyps and cancers.
Dr Loganayagam is an approachable doctor who takes pride in his communication skills with patients. He is keen to ensure that patients are fully informed and involved in all aspects of their care.

Dr Adam Ditchfield is a consultant neuroradiologist with subspecialty interests including brain imaging, skull base disease (including the eye and pituitary), back problems from spinal disease, cross-sectional imaging of the ear, nose and throat.
Dr Ditchfield is an experienced diagnostic neuroradiologist, but his day-to-day practice includes interventional treatment of both emergency and elective patients with aneurysms and dural fistulae (abnormal connections between arteries and veins in the outer layer of the brain and spine). In patients who present urgently with a recent stroke, he performs intra-arterial clot retrieval, a procedure to restore critical blood-flow to the brain.
Dr Ditchfield joined University Hospital Southampton in 2002 and North Hampshire Hospitals in 2017.
Dr Adam Mitchell specialises in musculoskeletal imaging, with particular expertise in sports injury. In addition to his practice, he currently works as Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College, London.
He is radiologist to numerous premier league and championship football teams, professional cricket clubs and numerous rugby union teams. Dr Mitchell works with many International football, cricket and rugby teams. He also provided radiological imaging services for individual athletes at the Beijing 2008, London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympics.
Dr Mitchell is author of Gray's Anatomy for Students 1st, 2nd and 3rd editions, Gray's Pocket Atlas of Anatomy and Gray's Anatomy for Students flash cards. He is the editor of multiple books, including Applied Radiological Anatomy and Applied Radiological Anatomy for Medical Students and has published over 50 peer-reviewed papers. He is an international lecturer and teacher in radiology and sports imaging.
Dr Miller is Clinical Lead of the Neurology Department at Hampshire Hospitals, where he holds clinics in general neurology, headache and motor neuron disease. He runs a regional specialist neuromuscular clinic at University Hospital Southampton.
Dr Miller graduated with distinction from Cambridge University before completing the ‘golden circuit' of postgraduate medical training at the Hammersmith, Royal Brompton, Guy's and St Thomas', and National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery.
He was awarded a PhD by the UCL Institute of Neurology, Queen Square, for MRC-funded research on the muscle disease, inclusion body myositis, then completed neurological specialist training at Chelsea & Westminster, Charing Cross and St Mary's Hospitals, London.
He continues to serve as principal investigator on several large clinical trials.
Dr Miller's practice covers all neurological conditions, and he has particular interest in diseases of peripheral nerve and muscle, and the management of headache.
Dr Afrina Alam was awarded the Gold Medal at Guy's and St. Thomas' Hospital Medical School for placing first in MBBS finals. She was additionally awarded distinctions in medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology and prizes in thoracic medicine, neurology, obstetrics and gynaecology.
Her postgraduate training in general medicine was at The Royal Brompton Hospital, Imperial College and St. George's Hospital. She carried out dermatology specialist training at St. John's Institute of Dermatology, Chelsea and Westminster, St Mary's Hospital and Imperial College London.
She completed a PhD with award-winning postgraduate research in genetic skin conditions with prizes from the Royal College of Physicians, the Skin Investigation Society and the British Association of Dermatology annual trophy and prize. Dr Alam's research has been published in Nature Genetics and many additional high impact factor medical journals.
Dr Alam practices as a Consultant Dermatologist seeing adult and paediatric patients. She is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London. She carries out joint specialist clinics in inherited skin cancer syndromes at the Royal Marsden Hospital.

Dr Ajay Sahu is a Consultant Radiologist with interests in Musculoskeletal (MSK) medicine at London Northwest Healthcare University NHS Trust, London. He undertook structured Royal College approved radiology training (FRCR) in Southwest England and visited the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore as a fellow. He is a senior Lecturer at University of Buckinghamshire. He studied Orthopaedics at Gandhi Medical College in Bhopal (India) in 2003 and has been working in UK since 2004. He decided to change career in 2009 and switched from Orthopaedics to Radiology to specialise in MSK Radiology.
He is an expert in musculoskeletal and sports imaging, both diagnostic and intervention. He does a wide range of ultrasound, CT and fluoroscopy guided procedures.
Dr Sahu reviews several established scientific journals including the British medical Journal and Journal of Hand Surgery. He has published approximately 28 indexed articles (12 in pubmed), has been a keynote speaker and lectured at over 194 international and national meetings. He has 52 published abstracts, 40 oral presentations in international meetings, 46 oral presentations in UK national meetings, 57 posters in international meetings and 52 poster presentations in UK national meetings.

Dr Asad Tamimi is a Consultant Radiologist who specialises in abdominal and general imaging.
Dr Tamimi graduated from the prestigious King's College London in 2013 with multiple distinctions before successfully completing the MRCP in 2016 and becoming a fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2019.
He completed his speciality training at the world-renowned Imperial College Healthcare and obtained tertiary centre level experience in imaging in the following: post bariatric surgery, inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal and upper GI malignancy, hepatobiliary disease, urinary tract and prostate imaging.

Dr Grahame-Clarke joined the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital as a consultant cardiologist in 2005, specialising in heart failure, valvular heart disease, pacemakers, arrhythmias, palliative cardiac care, cardiac imaging and loop recorder insertions. She has a special clinical interest in echocardiography, heart failure, stroke and cardio-oncology.
Dr Grahame-Clarke trained at Oxford University before completing cardiology training in London including at the University College Hospital, where she gained a PhD in ""Infective organisms and atherosclerosis"". She spent a further two years at Columbia Medical Center in New York USA, as an Advanced Echocardiography Research Fellow working on the Northern Manhattan Stoke Study.
Dan undertook his medical training at Newcastle University and qualified in 2005. He subsequently worked in the Northern Deanery and started his cardiology registrar training in 2009. During his final two years of training, he focused on Cardiac Electrophysiology and Device Therapy whilst working at James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough and Freeman Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne. Dan completed his Cardiology Training in February 2017 and then undertook a Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. He started his substantive Consultant post at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in July 2018 and, together with Dr Richard Till, are currently developing a complex Cardiac Electrophysiology service for patients who live in Norfolk. Dan's training has provided him with a breadth of experience in all aspects of cardiology and arrhythmia management including standard and complex ablation and device implantation.
Deepak Kotak trained in anaesthesia and intensive care in London and Oxford teaching hospitals. He was appointed as a Consultant in anaesthesia and intensive care at King's College NHS Trust before moving to the independent sector.
Dr Kotak has over 20 years of experience at consultant level and practices sedation, anaesthesia and regional blocks.

Dr Demitrios Tzias qualified in 2005 from Imperial College Medical School in London. Following his core post-graduate training, he completed his radiology specialty training at St George's University hospital, where he completed two fellowships in musculoskeletal and breast radiology.
Dr Tzias has been a consultant since 2014 at Ashford and St Peter's NHS Trust. He specialises in joint, spinal MRI and ultrasound guided joint injections as well as breast diagnosis and intervention.
He has presented research projects in national and international level. Dr Tzias is passionate about offering the highest level of service to patients in a friendly and honest way.

Dr Rutherford has specialist interests in gynaecological and pelvic floor imaging, neck ultrasound and general oncology imaging. Dr Rutherford joined University Hospital Southampton as a consultant in 2006, predominantly working in the oncology imaging department. Dr Rutherford works in head and neck one-stop clinics, providing ultrasound scans and fine needle aspiration procedures (using a fine needle to take a sample of cells for testing) as well as performing other general ultrasound examinations. Dr Rutherford's work in the oncology imaging department involves reporting CT and MRI examinations as well as participating in multidisciplinary meetings within several specialist areas. She also has an interest in education with a role as the Royal College of Radiologists' Regional Specialty Adviser for Wessex.

Dr Ella Seccombe is a Consultant Dermatologist specialising in all aspects of general dermatology - these include eczema, acne, psoriasis, hair and nail disease, inflammatory skin disease and benign and malignant skin lesions and sun damage. A particular interest hers is paediatric dermatology, including the diagnosis and treatment of eczema, acne, skin lesions, strawberry birthmarks (haemangiomas) as well as other inflammatory rashes.
Dr Seccombe initially trained in London before moving to the Wessex region to complete Specialist Registrar training in Dermatology, and was appointed Consultant Dermatologist at University Hospitals Southampton NHS Trust in January 2020.

Dr Eugene McNally is a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist, specialising in all aspects of Musculoskeletal and Elite Sports Imaging (including spinal and rheumatological imaging) and ultrasound guided intervention.
Dr McNally trained in musculoskeletal radiology at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, and was on the organising committee for imaging at the London 2012 Olympic Games as well as providing imaging services to athletes for the 2014 Winter Games.
He has authored over 100 papers and abstracts and over 30 book chapters including a book on musculoskeletal ultrasound that has been translated into seven languages and is now in its second edition. He has also given over 300 lectures and workshops over the last 10 years.

Dr Giada Frontino is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She graduated in medicine from the State University of Milan, Italy in 2003 and trained in obstetrics and gynaecology in Italy, Belgium and Hong Kong.
Dr Frontino qualified as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2008 and worked at the prestigious Clinica Mangiagalli University Hospital in Milan. She gained vast experience in the diagnosis and treatment of fertility issues such as endometriosis and fibroids, as well as in adolescent gynaecology and fetal medicine and has also developed expertise in assisting high-risk pregnancies and gynaecological emergencies. Dr Frontino was the recipient of several clinical research grants and has published in peer-reviewed journals and international textbooks.
Dr Frontino is a member of International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ISUOG) and is accredited from the Fetal Medicine Foundation for Nuchal Translucency scanning.

Dr Hannah Short is a GP and an accredited specialist in Menopause and Premenstrual Disorders, recognised by the British Menopause Society (BMS), The International Association for Premenstrual Disorders (IAPMD) and The National Association for Premenstrual Syndromes (NAPS).
Hannah has a particular interest in induced (medical and surgical) menopause and premature ovarian insufficiency (POI). She is a current member of the IAPMD Clinical Advisory Board and the Surgical Menopause Advisory Committee.
Former Associate Editor of the official BMS journal Post Reproductive Health, she has served as a trustee for NAPS as well as on the clinical board of The Primary Care Women's Health Forum (PCWHF).
Hannah speaks widely on the topic of female hormonal health to both healthcare professionals and patient groups. She also has a keen interest in the role of plant-based nutrition in hormonal health, and has undertaken further training in Lifestyle Medicine with the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP).

Dr James (Jamie) Plumb studied medicine at the University of Nottingham, qualifying in 2006 before spending the final six years of his anaesthetic training at the Wessex School of Anaesthesia. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians, a fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and a fellow of the Faculty of Pre Hospital Care. Dr Plumb obtained the postgraduate diploma of Perioperative Medicine from UCL in 2018, and also became accredited in perioperative cardiopulmonary exercise testing in that same year.
Dr Plumb has been a Consultant at University Hospital Southampton since 2019, also working with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. His sub-specialty interests include major general surgery, regional anaesthesia, perioperative medicine, pre-operative assessment and optimisation and shared decision making. Alongside interests in trauma and pre hospital care. He also has strong research interests and will complete his PhD in 2022.
Dr Plumb enjoys helping patients make informed choices, and is one of only a few consultants to hold a diploma in perioperative medicine and to have had formal training in shared decision making. He also has an interest in regional anaesthesia and regularly perform ultrasound guided nerve blocks of the upper and lower limbs.

Dr Brant qualified from King's College, Cambridge and St Thomas' Medical School in 1989 and undertook extended hospital training in general medicine, gaining his MRCP, qualifying in radiology in 1999.
Dr Brant was appointed consultant radiologist at North Hampshire Hospitals NHS Trust in 2003, and has also been a Royal College of Radiologists Tutor for Radiology Trainees in the Wessex region, and an Educational Supervisor. He has lectured and taught on internationally attended conferences and courses for fellowship trainees.
Dr Brant's specialty is musculoskeletal radiology, using MRI, CT and ultrasound scanning in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Dr Brant uses imaging for guided intervention for effective diagnosis and treatment of conditions involving joints and tendons. He works widely with orthopaedic surgical and sports medicine colleagues both locally and in London and his work includes attending and running regular multidisciplinary meetings. He has extensive experience of diagnosing and treating high level sportspeople/athletes.

Dr Justin Lee is a Consultant Radiologist specialising in all aspects of musculoskeletal imaging. He works as a radiologist for a number of individual sports professionals and players from premier league and championship football clubs, premiership rugby clubs and professional cricket clubs.
He also provides radiology services for Olympic Team GB and was part of the radiology team for the Beijing 2008, London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games. He works as a radiologist for the NFL International Series UK and the British and Irish Lions rugby squad.
Dr Lee has presented at national and international science research meetings on numerous occasions and has tutored on BMUS, UKRC MSK Ultrasound and Oxford Skills courses. Dr Lee is the author of three book chapters and has written for 42 PubMed publications in musculoskeletal imaging. He has also contributed to Gray's Anatomy.

Dr Leonard King trained in Diagnostic Radiology at St. Bartholomew's Hospital, the Royal London Hospital, the AFIP in Washington DC and the Royal Brompton Hospital, followed by an MRI Fellowship at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital London. He is a former Junior International Athlete and Army Consultant Adviser in Radiology with more than 23 years' experience as a Musculoskeletal Radiologist at Royal Hospital Haslar and University Hospital Southampton. His specialist interests are sports injuries, MRI, ultrasound and musculoskeletal intervention including cryoablation. He has treated sportsmen and women of all abilities from a diverse range of sports including; elite international athletes from more than 50 nations, members of the British Olympic, Paralympic and Winter Olympic Teams, 3 Premiership football clubs plus numerous county and international cricket teams. Dr Mark Wotherspoon is a sports injury specialist consultant, and founding fellow of the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine, with extensive Team Doctor experience. A renowned sport injury specialist, he has been Club Doctor at Fulham FC and London Irish, and is currently the lead Medical Officer at Southampton FC.
Dr Wotherspoon was also the Chief Medical Officer for England and Great Britain hockey, attending two Commonwealth games and one Olympic games in this role. Dr Wotherspoon has also been a Medical Officer for the England cricket team since 2007, and is currently Lead Medical Officer for the Senior Squad, and Chief Medical Officer for Hampshire Cricket Club.
Dr Wotherspoon qualified from St George's Hospital in 1985 and completed his GP vocational training in 1991, having worked in Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, Exercise medicine and A&E. He was a Principal in General Practice till 2010. Dr Wotherspoon completed his diploma in Sport and Exercise Medicine in 1992 and has worked in Sport and Exercise Medicine since then.

Dr Matthew Thomas is a consultant radiologist specialising in musculoskeletal and spinal imaging and intervention.
Initially he pursued a career in surgery obtaining Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2002, before changing direction towards Radiology. In 2006, he joined the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists after training at St George's in London. Dr Thomas then pursued a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at Southampton where he has now practiced for over 10 years.
During this time Dr Thomas has participated in local research into Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid arthritis and lectures on the Sports and Exercise course at Southampton University. He has also led the musculoskeletal training module in the past, and is currently the MSK radiology lead at Southampton General.

Dr Maxwell Asante, is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at the Princess Royal University Hospital, Bromley (part of Kings College Hospital, London).
Dr Asante has built up over 20 years' experience in the management of simple and complex diseases in all aspects of gastroenterology. He sees most gastroenterology referrals for adults and adolescents. He is a panel member for international organisations providing second opinions in gastroenterology.
He completed higher specialist gastroenterology training at St George's Hospital, London in 1999. He was awarded PhD (Med) by University of London in 1999 for research onto the role of Helicobacter Pylori in gastro-intestinal diseases and also for developing healthcare systems for managing dyspepsia and upper gastro-intestinal endoscopy. He has published extensively in journals such as Gastroenterology (USA).

Dr Mayur Kumar is a leading Consultant Gastroenterologist specialising in Endoscopy; Acid reflux; Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD); Hepatobiliary diseases; Gastrointestinal, Pancreatic and Colon cancer. He also has a special interest in diseases of the liver, oesophagus, irritable bowel syndrome, pancreatic diseases and coeliac disease.
After completing his specialist training in Internal medicine and Gastroenterology/Hepatology in London and at the South-East, he was awarded his Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) in 2014. He later trained as a fellow of University College London Hospital where he practised advanced endoscopy and ERCP. Dr Kumar is currently the Clinical Lead for the Endoscopy service and GI cancer service at Princess Royal University Hospital, part of King's College Hospital NHS Trust. He is also actively involved in medical students, junior doctors and specialty registrar teaching and training and is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at King's College London and is a faculty member for various training courses in medicine and endoscopy.
During his career, Dr Kumar has presented research papers at both national and international conferences and published many papers in peer-reviewed journals. He has also been involved in clinical research and has ongoing research interests in Pancreato-biliary disease, Hepatology and Endoscopy and is a Principal Investigator for several research studies. Dr Rossiter is an experienced Consultant in Sport, Exercise and Musculoskeletal Medicine. Dr Neeraj Purohit graduated in Medicine from the University of Sheffield in 2001. Neeraj spent a year in Sydney Australia working at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital before successfully completing a basic surgical rotation and obtaining his MRCS qualification.
Dr Purohit was appointed to the Wessex Clinical Radiology Training Programme and successfully attained the Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists qualification before going on to complete a fellowship at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore. Here Neeraj gained experience in complex orthopaedic imaging, RFA and bone and soft tissue tumour imaging and biopsy.

Dr Neil McGill qualified in Medicine in 1989, undertaking training at the University of Southampton and the Wessex School of Anaesthesia before going on to work at the highly respected University Hospitals of Chicago and Michigan as an Associate Professor in Anaesthesiology. Dr McGill returned to the UK in 2005 and has worked at the University Hospital Southampton since.

Nihar has worked with Healthshare for over five years so far. In this time, he has gradually progressed in his career from band 6 to band 7, and now works as an Extended Scope Physiotherapist. This means he can conduct advanced MSK assessment, use clinical reasoning, carry out appropriate diagnoses and management plans and refer patients for investigations or other specialties. Following further training and supported by Healthshare, Nihar can now also conduct steroid injections and manage patients with persistent pain or long-term conditions.
Prior to this, Nihar qualified in India as a physiotherapist, specialising in musculoskeletal health and sports physiotherapy. After this, he travelled extensively around India supporting cricketers as a physiotherapist.
Phoebe has had a varied and successful career in radiography to date, including both NHS and private practice. She progressed to senior operational and people management positions. She joined Healthshare as a Senior MRI Radiographer, and she was soon promoted to her current role as Imaging Lead. In her role, Phoebe leads the department and her responsibilities include ensuring the health and safety of her teams and patients, people management, training, performing scans on patients including elite athletes and setting up and managing new services as the business grows.
Phoebe has an interesting academic background, with qualifications in both the humanities and radiography, in addition to an MBA. She has worked extensively in both NHS and private care settings.
