ANCIENT MEDITERRANEAN STUDIES

Ancient Mediterranean Studies is an interdepartmental and interdisciplinary program offering an undergraduate major emphasizing the interconnections of the ancient cultures of the Near East, Egypt, Greece and Rome. Courses, taught by faculty in seven departments, emphasize the exchange of artifacts and ideas throughout Mediterranean history - for which Emory's own Michael C. Carlos Museum provides a rich source of primary evidence.
