He has extensive experience with nonconforming products permeating the supply chain, originating from OEMs and suppliers. Prior to working as a corrective & preventive action project manager, Daniel worked as a business & design assurance project manager, mechanical-design engineer, fabricator, and machinist. In his spare time you will find him building & racing motorcycles or playing outdoors with his family in San Diego. Daniel understands each company has different process needs. His strength is his ability to quickly understand how process work, identify opportunities for improvement, and cultivate company-specific solutions using limited resources. Before founding Apophis Management, Daniel worked at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc in Poway, California. While at GA-ASI, he leveraged his experience in various departments to establish a quick & accurate method of handling nonconforming products escapes from the supply chain. He worked with the United States Army, Unites States Air Force (USAF), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), and other customers to cultivate a method of addressing nonconforming material that satisfied the customer's needs while minimizing impacts to the business. This in turn reduced customer oversight & scrutiny of the business process, allowing teams to focus on high-quality, high-speed suspect product investigations and communication. The end result was improved trust from all customers via the crafting of clear, concise narratives, developed near real-time as evidence was gathered.
