Based in the Netherlands, I recently started the study Communication and Multimedia Design at Avans University of Applied Sciences in Breda. People get very confused when I tell them what I study. CMD is basically an all around design education. It teaches you how to create things in all different kinds of subjects; game design, web design, robot design, film design etc. Because it is so broad I have learned many different skills so far; storytelling, Unity, 3D modelling, adobe programs, critical thinking, visual design, and way more. Before I even knew of this kind of education, I was studying Computer Science at the same school. Eventually I got quite bored with programming only. I wanted to design more, and be creative. That's when I came across CMD.
