BALL PLAYERS - Key Persons
John Cowell founded Ball Players LLC in 2011. Prior to this, John played minor league baseball with the Washington Wildthings from 2003 to 2004, and continued playing in a semi-professional capacity from 2004 to 2008, before his playing career was cut short by injury. John currently runs On Deck Training Center, an indoor baseball facility. Previously, John was with Turner Investments as an associate director of institutional relationships, The Hartford in investment sales, and KForce as a professional recruiter.
John attended Shenandoah University from 1998-2002, where he played baseball and was recruited to play minor league ball. He received his Bachelor of Arts in History from West Chester University in 2007. A resident of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, John has stayed involved with the game of baseball as a player/coach in the Delco Men's Semi-Pro league.
