The trained warehouse specialist has been strengthening the team of Zedler Group since April 2022. He supports the team in the field of logistics and material management, which is becoming increasingly important with the enormous growth in turnover of the Zedler Group. If necessary, he will also assist the engineers in the test laboratories. As a newcomer in the bicycle industry, he now commutes to work by bike every day.

Arne Macher

Arne Macher's first contact with the Zedler company was an internship in the test workshop. During this time, he gained first insights into bicycle technology. As of September 2022, the ambitious mountain biker and road biker is demonstrating his technical skills in the GDFS team, where he is being trained as a two-wheeler mechatronic bicycle technology.

Bernd Romhart

Bernd Romhart joined the Zedler team for the first time in April 2012. After having finished his training as bicycle mechanic, he successfully attended the master class at Bundesfachschule für Zweiradtechnik (federal school for two-wheel technology) in Francfort. In the GDFS team he is mainly focussed on the preparation of expert reports for insurers and also entrusted with the maintenance of the extensive database. In his private life he passionately repares and assembles bicycles and dedicates much time to restoring old bicycles.

Claudia Zedler

Following her apprenticeship, Claudia Zedler worked in the administration and quality assurance departments of various companies for many years. Since 2010 she has been responsible for accounting, financial and personnel matters of Zedler-Group.

David Heil

David Heil worked at a bicycle shop already when he still went to school. After graduation he took up and finished an apprenticeship as bicycle mechanic at Zedler-Institut. Since July 2011 he has been working as assistant to the engineers in the testing laboratory.

Graduate engineer, publicly appointed and sworn in expert for bicycles and electric bicycles (CCI Stuttgart), member of committee of examiners CCI Dirk Zedler is founder and managing director of the Zedler-Group companies. Since the company was founded in 1993, the publicly appointed and sworn in expert for bicycles and electric bicycles has been striving to professionalize the bicycle industry and improve the status of bicycles and pedelecs.

Finn Heit

Finn Heit has been an apprentice in the GDFS team since September 2022. His field of activity is the test workshop, where he is learning how to assemble, maintain and repair bicycles and e-bikes from scratch. The goal of the apprenticeship of the passionate enduro mountain biker: the profession of two-wheeler mechatronic bicycle technology.

Julian Großkopf

The first contact of the exceptional athlete and Zedler-Group was during an internship lasting several months in 2018. Julian Großkopf - who is now, among others, the 2021 European Champion in the age group 20-24 over the middle-distance triathlon - joined the Zedler team as a working student at the beginning 2021. There are valuable overlaps between his "Aerospace Engineering" studies at the University of Stuttgart and bicycle and e-bike testing technology. For this reason he supports the test engineers in the accreditation of the test laboratory and in the day-to-day business of testing services. Zedler-Group supports Julian Großkopf, among other things, with fast bikes and material for his competitions.

Julius Weimann

Julius Weimann joined the Zedler team in July 2016. The graduate of the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (FHWS) was in one of the last student classes that received the German title Diplom-Ingenieur (FH). Already during his studies he was particularly interested in the subject "carbon". As a consequence he wrote his diploma theses about the load-specific design of a bicycle rim made of fibre-reinforced plastics. As part of the Zedler team he is now involved in the performance of the testing orders.

Jürgen Haag

Juergen Haag is a certified industrial mechanic for equipment and fine mechanics and was working as a group leader in a metal processing company for many years. Since November 2010 he has been supporting the Zedler team in the mechanical workshop where he makes parts for the Zedler testing systems.

Kevin Togal

Kevin Togal took up his apprenticeship at Zedler-Institut in September 2020. After having successfully completed his apprenticeship in June 2023, he remains in the team. Kevin continues working in the Testing Technology and Services department where he is involved in all business procedures from accepting testing services orders, the preparation of the test reports and the return of the test pieces.

Lea Michler

Lea Michler started her apprenticeship in the Technical Documentation department in September 2020. The objective of her apprenticeship is to become a digital and print media manager. The high-school graduate will not only learn the commercial but also the creative aspects of this job during her apprenticeship.

Manuel Gönnenwein

Manuel Gönnenwein is a graduate of Stuttgart University where he acquired a Master of Science Mechanical Engineering. He has always been interested in vehicle engineering with a particular focus on bicycles; high-value bicycles are his favourites. In June 2019 he joined the Zedler team where he is now in charge of drawing up expert reports. As a passionate frequent rider he uses of course the bicycle for commuting to work and therefore has the highest total of annual kilometres in the company. In his private life he is often in his own bicycle workshop and not only maintains and repairs many of his own bicycles of all types but also the bicycles of his family and friends.
