Barry W. Wilson

Barry W. Wilson is Global Healthcare Advisor and former President of Medtronic International. He has more than 50 years experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. He was President of Lederle International, prior to its merger with Wyeth, and President of Bristol Myers Squibb Europe. He had nine international assignments with Pfizer. He served on the Board of Directors of Welch Allyn, Mallinckrodt Inc., Bausch and Lomb and Rezidor Inc. , i.e., Radisson Hotels International and worked with DLJ Credit Suisse Alternative Investments as their Global Healthcare Advisor. Mr Wilson serves on the Boards of NetScientific Plc, Wyss Center for Bio and Neuro engineering, Caribbean Health Care Partners, Africa Heart, and is Chairman of 47 Park Street (owned by Marriott). He also advises several venture capital organisations. Mr Wilson has an M.A. from Cambridge University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Dennis D. Cox

Professor Cox is affiliated with Rice University, Houston, TX, USA. Professor Cox's primary interests are nonparametric function estimation, stochastic processes, statistical computing, and the application of statistical methods to complex scientific and technological problems, such as testing theories against experimental data when computational complexity limits the number of theoretical predictions that can be obtained. Many such problems involve estimation of unknown constants or even unknown functions. Professor Cox has done fundamental research in the use of spline functions for such applications and extensive work in developing methodologies and practical computational approaches. He has collaborated with investigators from such disciplines as electrical engineering, neurophysiology, oncology, material science and economics.

Duncan Fraser

Duncan is a commercial and corporate lawyer with many years of international experience based in Europe and Asia. He initially worked in private equity venture capital and management buy-outs with Clifford Chance, London. Subsequently he was involved with a fast moving consumer goods multinational based in Switzerland and Hong Kong where he had wide ranging legal responsibilities covering operations in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and South East Asia. Duncan now provides consulting services to startup and mid-sized companies mainly in the areas of commercial, IT and R&D.

Dr. Rosenblum is Professor of Medicine at MD Anderson Cancer Center, University of Texas, Houston, USA, and he is the head of the Immunopharmacology and Targeted Therapy Laboratory in the Department of Experimental Therapeutics. Dr. Rosenblum has authored or co-authored over 300 peer-reviewed publications and has well over 100 issued patents and patent applications.
