Bruce Morris

Bruce has over 35 years of experience in real estate investment and operations with a focus on hotel funds management in both the public and private markets. He has held Fund and Portfolio Management roles within large listed Australian property and fund managers including Bankers Trust, Lend Lease, GPT Group and Mirvac Group. Bruce holds a Bachelor of Business (Hotel Management) and a Master of Commerce (Finance). He is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has held a number of company Directorships including in the not-for-profit sector. He has a particular interest in supporting Indigenous communities and in primary health care.

Kirsty Summersides

Kirsty's career started in the commercial sector, where she held multiple accounting roles as a CPA. A change in direction saw her move into law enforcement as a Forensic Accountant which was followed by a master's degree and a Bachelor of Laws. Kirsty has a passion for the not-for-profit sector and sits on the Board and Finance and Audit Committee of a State sporting organisation.

Lucian Russ - Chairman

Lucian's business career has spanned 30 years, and he has lived all over the world, in London, Cape Town, Adelaide, and Alice Springs. He spent many years as managing director of his own wealth management firm, being a Certified Financial Planner. He is also on the board of an international clean water charity. With several close family members dealing with disability, Lucian is committed to a strong and sustainable NFP disability sector.

Mark Coffey

Mark is a long-term Territory resident and has worked across the Australian and Northern Territory Governments in senior executive roles. Mark now runs his own management consulting firm supporting organisations to achieve great things. Mark is on several boards and contributes through his experience in service delivery, local knowledge, and strong governance background. Mark is committed to a strong NGO sector to ensure that regional Australians have access to the same services as those in capital cities and is pleased to be supporting Casa Services in these endeavours in Central Australia.

Sue Shearer

Job Titles:
  • Vice Chair
Sue has lived in the Territory for nearly 50 years - first in Alice and now in Darwin. Sue has experience in the private sector as a business owner, has worked in government and the not-for-profit sector, and is currently CEO of Council on the Ageing, NT. Sue chaired the Integrated Disability Association (IDA) for over five years and is on the Consumer Advisory Group for Power and Water, Commercial Passenger Vehicle Group, Ministerial Advisory Council for Seniors and is a strong advocate for the disability sector.
