CITYPAY

We wanted to solve a problem, one that is close to us here at the University of Michigan - Flint. Through extensive research we were able to come up to a solution to a problem many residents struggle with (if only once a month); paying their water bill... Phase 1 involved the formation of the group. Then we proposed ideas that formed the basis of the course project. We gave a brief 5-minute presentation as an opportunity to receive feedback from our peers. We were prompted to choose a topic in which our focus was to improve or create a specific tool, application, or service. Once we had our focus we compiled the information into a project proposal. The proposal included the problem description, related work and background of the problem as research, our methodology for collecting data on the problem. Finally we outlined a new or improved system.
