Jean N. Mwimbi is currently the founder of Core for Research, Innovation, and Education in the Republic Democratic of Congo (Core23lab). He is also a board member or Kuza Stem generation Tanzania (KSGEN). In addition, Mr. Jean Mwimbi has also hold several managerial and administrative positions in the Republic Democratic of Congo. He completed his master's degree in project management, and an undergraduate degree in networks and communication systems. His area of interest include digital security, social policies, and agriculture.

Karen Flores Muller

Born and raised in Santiago, Chile, Karen is a scientist and an educator at heart with working and living experience in eight states and countries. Karen completed a degree in Biotechnology Engineering from the University of Chile in 2010. She then took a year volunteering as an early education teacher and primary school teacher in Cairo, Egypt. In 2011, Karen crossed the border to Israel to start postgraduate studies. In 2017, Karen completed her PhD in Science from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel, in the field of cancer research and anti-cancer drug development. Karen has published 6 scientific publications in prestigious science journals, including a publication in Natura Communications and 2 patents registered in the USA derived from her PhD work. Since then, Karen has worked as a research scientist and educator in Australia, the USA, and the DRC, currently pursuing an online master's degree in applied Learning and Teaching from Deakin University, Australia. Overall, Karen has almost 7 years of combined experience in mentoring and teaching science and mathematics, over 8 years of research experience in the biomedical field, and over a year of experience in biotech entrepreneurship.
