Angella began her career with the City of Kinston in 2019 as a Administrative Assistant for the Water Resources Division of Public Services. In 2022 she transferred to the Finance Department and was promoted to the Purchasing & Warehouse Manager.
In 2023, the Police Department hired her and she was promoted to Administrative Manager I.

In 2011 she attended Liberty University (Lynchburg, VA) where she was majoring in Psychology. In 2022 she went back to school to pursue her Bachelor's in Business Administration Finance.

Major Turner is a lifelong resident of Lenoir County and began working as a police officer with the City of Kinston in 2008. He has advanced through the ranks, working in numerous divisions within the agency, and was promoted to Major in 2023. He now serves as the Investigations Division Major.
Major Turner is a 2007 South Lenoir High School graduate with an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice Technology from Coastal Carolina Community College, and he is currently completing his Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia Southern University. Major Turner has attended numerous leadership programs, including the North Carolina University Law Enforcement Executive Program, Northwestern University Supervision of Police Personnel, and Methodist University's West Point Leadership Academy. Major Turner has also received a certificate from the North Carolina Justice Academy for their Leadership Certificate Program and Tactical Certificate Program; each program requires 400 hours of specialized law enforcement training.

Major Kevin Jenkins is a 17-year veteran of law enforcement. After graduating from high school, he attended North Carolina Wesleyan College where he studied Criminology. Major Jenkins was hired by the Kinston Police Department in 2005 as a Patrol Officer. During his career, he has been involved in many types of criminal aspect of law enforcement at the local, state and federal levels. In 2007, he was transferred to the Narcotics/Gang Unit and worked there for 12 years. During that time, he also served as a Special Agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Unit for 3 years, working in undercover capacity. Major Jenkins continued to advance in his career and was later promoted to the rank of Sergeant of the Patrol Division in 2018. He was later promoted to rank of Captain where he served as Captain of the Community Service and Support Service Division. On June 27 2023, Kevin Jenkins was promoted to the rank of Major. Major Jenkins loves being involved with the community and plans a lot of the department's Public Relation events. He has also received numerous awards and commendations for his work ethics, professionalism and compassion.
