Get Involved, Value Everyone. Since its inception in 2016, with a small group of 5th graders (now in 11th grade) and the Falls Church Elementary PTA, GIVE Day has fostered a culture of caring in FCCPS. Inspired by the International Baccalaureate learner profile traits and Harvard's Making Caring Common project focused on caring for others and seeking the common good, over the years, ongoing enthusiasm for these programs expanded the program to middle school and high school GIVE Day programs... Packed 10,000 meals with Rise Against Hunger (add in another 20,000 for joining MEHMS GIVE Day Club in 2021 + 30,000 in 2022, but then don't double count with middle school numbers below)... GIVE Day: Get Involved. Value Everyone. A public-service-oriented club with branches across three of Falls Church City's public schools.
