Chase Counts

Job Titles:

Chase Counts is a Licensed Professional Counselor providing professional counseling since 2014. Chase has a history of counseling individuals, families, and couples who have experienced trauma. He utilizes a client centered approach and enjoys incorporating wilderness therapy into his practice. He is A.R.T. and E.M.D.R. trained, as well as Level II trained in the Gottman Institute Method of Couples Therapy. Chase is committed to providing a non-judgmental and accepting environment and engaging actively to assist first responders. Chase enjoys the outdoors and camping with his wife and children.

Christina Walker

Christina Walker attended Northeastern State University graduating with a master's in Counseling Psychology in 2011. Christina is a trauma specialist and has conducted training across the state on the topic of the ethical treatment of trauma. Christina is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (C.B.T.), E.M.D.R. and A.R.T. trained. Prior to joining First Responder Support Services, PLLC, Christina provided counseling through her private practice in Broken Arrow, which included being the mental health representative for a local nonprofit, Fit First Responders, for over 5 years. Christina is an approved trainer for the PREP relationship program from Project Related in Oklahoma and has co-facilitated multiple relationship workshops through this program. She enjoys time with her family, baking, and swimming for relaxation.

Dana L. Mugavero

Dana L. Mugavero, Director of First Responder Support Services, PLLC is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (L.C.S.W.) providing professional counseling since 1995. Dana holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology: Juvenile Treatment & Corrections from Oklahoma State University and a master's degree in Social Welfare from the University of Kansas. Dana has provided counseling, training and critical incident response to public safety personnel and their immediate family members for over 16 years. She has extensive training and expertise in the treatment of trauma, including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (E.M.D.R.) and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Level II. CISM (Critical Incident Stress Management) trained in 2000, Dana has facilitated over 90 debriefings for public safety personnel throughout Oklahoma and provides consultation to the Tulsa Police and Fire Department, Tulsa County Sheriff's Office, Broken Arrow Police Department, Owasso Fire Department and Claremore Police and Fire Department peer support teams. In her leisure time, Dana enjoys gardening, hiking, trips in the Jumping Jack and fly fishing with her husband, Matt.

Ernest Conyers, II

Ernest H Conyers II holds a bachelor's degree in Pastoral Care and counseling from Oral Roberts University and a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Southern Nazarene University. Ernest is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. During his 14 years of working in the mental health field serving children, adults and families, he has helped them through trauma, behavioral issues, family conflicts, and other life issues. Ernest is an A.R.T. and E.M.D.R trained therapist. Ernest lives in Tulsa with his wife, Jonell, son Jonathan and dog Rocky. Ernest enjoys spending time with his family, various sports, watching movies and listening to all genres of music.

Jessica White

Jessica White, our Receptionist and Office Manager, will greet you with a friendly and welcoming demeanor. Jessica has over two decades of experience serving individuals and families in various administrative and ministry roles. She has a passion for helping people and is honored to be a part of our FRSS team, serving first responders and their families. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, taking walks with her dog, Moose, and spending time with family and friends.

Nicole Dunham

Nicole Dunham is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has been providing counseling services for 8 years. Nicole holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a master's degree in Community Counseling from Oklahoma State University. Throughout her career, Nicole has served children, adults, and families working to address trauma, grief, stress management, life adjustments and relationship issues. She has extensive experience in providing treatment of trauma and is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (T.F.C.B.T), E.M.D.R. and A.R.T. Nicole lives in Jenks with her husband, Brett, and two children. She enjoys traveling, a good brunch, sports and fitness & spending time with friends and family.

Stacy King

Stacy King holds a bachelor's in Psychology and a master's in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern State University. Stacy is A.R.T. and E.M.D.R. trained and experienced in the treatment of trauma. Throughout the last 26 years she has provided crisis intervention, homeless outreach, counseling, and long-term care to those with mental illness. Prior to joining FRSS she was employed with The University of Oklahoma OU IMPACT team and participated in mental health training for TPD and surrounding law enforcement agencies for years. She was also an adjunct instructor at Tulsa Community College for 19 years, teaching courses related to mental health and psychology. In her free time, Stacy enjoys travel and spending time with her family.

Tanis Taylor

Tanis Taylor holds both a bachelor's degree in Family Studies and Gerontology and a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Southern Nazarene University. She has been licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (L.M.F.T.) since 2008. Her experience, prior to joining FRSS in the fall of 2017, includes community mental health, hospice, peer support, and hospital settings. She is A.R.T. and E.M.D.R. trained and approaches therapy as a collaborative process in which growth occurs in the context of one human being relating to another. Tanis lives in Tulsa with her husband Jubal and has two adult children. She enjoys spending time with family, playing with her dogs, and DIY projects.
