I want to inspire and help others to create a more balanced, focused and mindful life. I want more people to know that healing is accessible to them and know that they have a community to support them in their journey. And it is this desire that inspired me to launch my company, Ascent Mind+Body Co... From an early age, I struggled with anxiety and depression but it really became apparent when I went off to college. It was overwhelming and isolating. When I graduated I continued to experience anxiety and depression, but therapy was not accessible to me at the time. I started searching for ways to soothe my pain and frustrations and discovered different tools - such as yoga, meditation, journaling and breathwork - that helped me feel grounded. They were tools that I could grasp on to when I felt like I was spiraling out of control.
