Insurance Services Inc was founded in 1915 by Burt C. Laurimore. Originally called B.C. Laurimore Agency, the business was sold to Glen J. May in 1937. The agency was then called Glen J. May Agency until 1968 when it became May Insurance Associates. The agency was purchased by Jack R. DeFord in 1974 and became Insurance Services Inc. Over the years, Insurance Services Inc has purchased the Rockwell Insurance Agency and Ray Agency in Cloverdale Indiana and the John M. King Agency in Gosport Indiana. All are operated as Insurance Services Inc at our 205 E Morgan Street location in Spencer Indiana... J&S Farmers Agency started in 1894 as Farmers Mutual of Johnson & Shelby Counties. In 1997 J&S Farmers Agency was formed as the mutual was consolidated. We serve the insurance needs of clients in Johnson, Shelby, and surrounding counties in central Indiana.
