KAREN'S REFUGE & RESTORATION

Our Mission is to empower women and children to break the cycle of intergenerational trauma and abuse in order to obtain and regain their health and happiness, and establish stability by providing holistic mental and physical health education, vocational education, financial education, and spiritual education for the purpose of establishing a culture of health, peace, and prosperity throughout our community... Karen's Refuge and Restoration is a non profit organization organized for the purpose of providing resources and support to women and children that have been victims of domestic violence and intergeneration trauma in and around the Monroe, Louisiana area. The goal of the organization is to train, equip, and restore 80 families through our Refuge and Restoration programs and services every year with the tools needed to return to their communities and prevent the effects of intergenerational abuse to their families and community members.
