Eli is an experienced attorney who has litigated numerous cases, including cases involving victims of crimes, vehicle crashes, premises liability, and products liability.
Outside of the firm, Eli has served in the U.S. Army for more than a decade. Currently, Eli serves as a Captain and Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army Reserves. Eli has completed multiple active-duty tours, including a combat deployment to Iraq, where he served as the senior U.S. intelligence officer for a large base in Iraq.
Eli has also completed a tour with the U.S. Army's Cyber Command, and a state activation here in Georgia in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, where Eli coordinated the deployment of Soldiers to nursing homes, hospitals, and other health care facilities. Eli finds serving in uniform very fulfilling and finds the same fulfillment helping people as an attorney.
Before joining the Wetherington Law Firm, Robert specialized in insurance litigation, liability litigation, and general insurance defense. His experience representing some of Georgia's largest insurance carriers and providers gives him unique insight into the tactics that powerful companies use against plaintiffs and the actions that plaintiffs can take to strengthen their cases, both in negotiations and in court.
