In addition to broad efforts to identify specific causes of neurodevelopmental conditions, we have focused clinical and research efforts on synaptic disorders, with specific attention to PTEN Hamartoma Tumor Syndrome, Phelan-McDermid Syndrome, and Kleefstra Syndrome... We strive to translate these scientific discoveries into personalized treatments and meaningful clinical practice changes. At Boston Children's Hospital, Dr. Srivastava directs the Developmental Neurogenetics Program, focused on genetic causes of neurodevelopmental disorders.
