SCREENING

The Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Centre was created as a new healthcare initiative within the Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust in 2005. In April 2018, the Trust merged with University Hospitals Birmingham... We provide free diabetic eye screening for patients throughout the Birmingham, Solihull and Black Country area. We also train screeners and graders from all over the country and abroad... We also produce and present audits on various subject linked to diabetic retinopathy and help with research.
