Anthony Angell

Anthony started working at Closeline in 1995 (at the tender age of 25) and was instrumental in expanding the company from a reputable regional player, to the major title and escrow powerhouse it is today, operating in 40+ states. After many successful, and life changing years with Closeline, he left to pursue his dream of establishing his own tech company. That dream became a realization, and now Anthony is world renowned for co-founding StickyStreet, one of the planet's most popular loyalty and rewards platforms. Established in over 100 countries and 13+ languages, StickyStreet is used by hundreds of global agencies and big brands including TJ MAXX, Verizon, Toys R Us, Gloria Jeans Coffee, and Harley Davidson, among others. A perpetual mad scientist and visionary, Anthony's creative and loyalty expertise has been featured in the Washington Post, Washington Times, Business Week, Modern Salon, Salon Today, Renew Magazine, LaunchPad, and American Spa. He has been a popular and frequent guest speaker at Apple's Small Business Day Events. He enjoys building brands and helping others, especially children and furry animals. Anthony is a serial Crowd Funder/Investor and has been involved in a few well known properties including Tile, VacuVita, Sansaire and even the Veronica Mars movie, for which he is unabashedly proud. When he's not busy at work, dedicated to the needs of his surrogacy clients, he can be found watching (and rewatching) one of the 3000+ movies in his library, learning a new cuisine: currently Traditional Vietnamese, or practicing his molecular gastronomy skills. Anthony's philanthropic endeavors have him on the Board of Directors for Academy Dances for Hope, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to the advancement, socialization, and education of underprivileged children through social dance. He is also a contributor to the HRC, Matthew Sheppard Foundation, Miriam's Kitchen, Georgetown Pediatrics, (RED), Doctors without Borders, U.S. Pirg and The Hamels Foundation.

Elliot M. Liss - CEO

Elliot M. Liss is an established settlement services executive, attorney, and member of the Maryland and District of Columbia Bars. He is a cum laude graduate of the American University's Washington College of Law. He has a BS in finance from the University of Maryland at College Park. A father of four children, he enjoys the process of helping others become parents to enjoy the most fulfilling thing in life - raising a family. As a founding principal of the firm in 1993, Elliot began his title career servicing bank and non-bank lenders in connection with their nationwide and regional lending platforms. He was instrumental in creating one of the first nationwide title and escrow companies with brick and mortar locations in multi-state environments. As a co-founder of Closeline, Elliot has worked to establish Closeline as one of the leading directly licensed title and escrow companies in the country. Closeline has been active in the national title business for well over two decades and Closeline is now licensed to operate in approximately 44 states through various Closeline subsidiaries. He also serves as a board member for several Mid-Atlantic based title insurance agencies. In 2007, he established Validata Lender Services, LLC (VLS) as a national appraisal management company. VLS services regional and national bank and non-bank lenders in support of their entire appraisal platforms with seamless electronic integration achieving appropriate appraisal compliance. Elliot has been an active member of YPO/WPO (Young Presidents Organizations) since 2003 and lives with his wife of 22 years, Sandy, in Potomac, Maryland.

Michael P. Bell - COO

Michael P. Bell is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law and was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 1987. He is also a member of the District of Columbia Bar and the Bar of the State of Washington. Mr. Bell is a former prosecutor with the Assistant States Attorney office for Montgomery County, Maryland. A father of three children, Mike also enjoys the process of helping others become parents, so that they can enjoy raising a family. Mr. Bell is an avid web designer and is primarily responsible for the design and implementation of Closeline's proprietary web-based software platform. All of Mr. Bell's designs are structured to foster Closeline's National Closing and Escrow Platform. He also directed the overall design of Closeline's Appraisal Management Software System. Mr. Bell also serves as a board member for several Mid-Atlantic based large title insurance agencies. Mr. Bell is an avid pilot and is a member of the AOPA.
