SOCIETY FOR SYSTEMATIC PHILOSOPHY

The SSP is a Society Dedicated to Promoting and Practicing the Autonomy of Philosophy... The purpose of the Society for Systematic Philosophy, henceforth referred to as the SSP, is to both promote and practice the autonomy of philosophical inquiry in its theoretical and practical dimensions. As long as philosophy is indebted to foundations that cannot justify themselves, philosophy remains bound to unjustified presuppositions that undermine the vocation of philosophy as self-critical inquiry. Accordingly, the SSP is committed to overcoming all foundations and pursuing a systematic program by which it understands philosophy to be fully self-justifying and freely self-determining.
