Alison Love - COO

Alison is a senior operational leader and has worked in the voluntary sector since 1985 in a variety of health & social care organisations. A graduate of both Glasgow Caledonian University & Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford, Alison holds various qualifications including Leadership and Management and Charity & Social Enterprise Management. With a UK wide remit, Alison has previously led, developed and grown geographically dispersed person centred services to improve the lives of those we support. A passionate and committed professional, Alison strives to improve the lives of those we support through the leadership, management and support of operational teams. In her spare time, Alison likes to spend time with friends and family and is an avid cruiser, having cruised to many ports across Europe, USA and the Caribbean.

Martin Glackin

Martin has worked in health and social care since 1984 and was a Ward Manager in NHS Lanarkshire before joining Loretto Care in 1994 to work in a number of operational care roles, before becoming the Head of Care. He had responsibility for the management of all care services within Loretto Care, Dunedin Canmore and Barony. This included inputting at a strategic level to the overall development of care and support activities, ensuring the highest possible quality of service was provided. Integral to this was supporting good governance of the business, he reported to Barony and Loretto Care's Management Committee on care activities and performance. He led on a number of key strategic projects, including service transformation, piloting technology in care, supporting innovation from front line workers and engaging with the people supported and unpaid carers. Martin joined the Mungo Foundation in 2020, in a temporary Compliance and Improvement role and secured the Director of Quality Assurance and Compliance position in March 2022. As part of the Executive Team, Martin and the Quality and Compliance Team support colleagues in improving the quality of services provided and in ensuring the people we serve are the focus of our work.

Sharon McGowan - CFO

Sharon has 15 years of experience within the third sector, and previously spent 7 years in construction and manufacturing in various finance roles. She has managed and led multidisciplinary teams in Finance, Admin, Governance, Procurement, and Property for over 20 years. Sharon has been part of the Executive Team throughout her career, collaborating with Board-level and various Committee structures. She holds an honours degree in Accountancy and is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), with 15 years of post-qualified experience. Sharon has extensive experience in Finance, Governance, Risk Management, Legal, Procurement, and has carried out the duties and responsibilities of Company Secretary. She has led change management processes and significant projects across a diverse range of areas, ensuring effectiveness and compliance. Sharon has a deep understanding of the challenges facing the sector and works collaboratively with funders, partners, and commissioners across Scotland to ensure long-term financial sustainability. She is also highly experienced in tendering for new and existing services in a competitive sector.

Tamsin Burns

Tamsin is a senior people professional with experience across social housing, the voluntary sector, and local and national government. She has an MBA and is a Chartered Member of the CIPD. She is responsible for developing and deploying our workforce and organisational development strategic plan, and providing assurance to the Board of Trustees in doing so. Tamsin's core value is fairness and she seeks to identify ways that all people in an organisation can be supported and empowered to deliver the best outcomes. Outside of work she enjoys the cinema, working out (especially boxing) and has a lifelong devotion to an unfashionable London football club.
