Karen Larson is a founder and principal of Broad Avenue Construction, Inc., as well as Broad Avenue Studios, Inc., a national interior design firm specializing in the residential sector, with clientele from coast-to-coast. She is an experienced real estate professional with a background in development and design as well as finance.
Karen's professional career includes more than twenty years of experience in the financial industry, most notably as Director, Head of Advanced Sales for Deutsche Bank and President/Owner of Advanced Sales & Marketing, ultimately selling the business she founded to Morningstar. While serving as a Director at Deutsche Bank, Karen was featured as a keynote speaker at numerous industry conferences throughout the United States and Europe. Karen has a bachelor of arts degree from DePaul University and is a Certified Financial Planner, CFP®.
During the last 10 years, Karen has been a project manager and principal in a real estate development and design firm she founded. Karen has recently completed projects in Nantucket, Massachusetts, Greater Chicago, Naples, Florida, Chevy Chase, Maryland, and Arlington, Virginia.
